Baronial Poem

A poem gifted to us on the Barony’s 30th Birthday

The Barony of Tir-y-Don dwells in the fair lands of Atlantia
With People of chivalry, honor and beauty to rival Cytherea.

Of service, they have many that find their order true,
The swan and cygnet serve in many ways,
For those that last and from temptations eschew,
The golden phoenix lends its blaze.

The strong and fighting defend our land,
And orca’s spirit becomes their brand,
With archer’s arrows lending their strike,
The sable skate turns point to spike.

Those who bring beauty, knowledge, and science,
To the whelk they learn their own self-reliance,
The fighters of thin steel with whistling blades,
Our rapier warriors deserving of our accolades.

For thirty years Tir-y-Don has stood strong,
Living the dream of chivalry and honor, lifelong.
